Chocolates & Lilacs

Chocolates & Lilacs are RARE, 

Buyers please Beware!!

These two colours are very difficult to purchase, and since the Ragdoll

       takes 2 or more years for its coat colour to darken, many of these cats

       are unfortunately blue or seal in colour.

       As pet Ragdolls this may not matter, but as a breeder this is an

       extremely important factor for there breeding program!!

       Then the question remains, “How do I know I have a “true” or

       “real” chocolate / lilac?”, DNA testing will guarantee, you are buying

        a “true” or “real” chocolate / lilac kitten, or deal with a reputable

        breeder, known to truly have these diluted colours in their breeding

       program, carriers can not be identified without DNA testing unless

       one direct parent is a true chocolate or lilac.

Kitten Buyers Beware!!

       Chocolate and Lilac Ragdolls are an expensive purchase, so be

       prepared to pay up to twice the cost of a blue or seal colour,

       make sure you own an authentic one. Bells and Sirens should

       go off if the price is cheap or the breeder is yet inexperienced.
