Please Note:    Redoak Ragdolls is not a retail outlet, we are a small private Registered Breeder, breeding and               showing our Ragdolls Kittens for a hobby and interest from our home for Private Sale, we provide much               more than just kittens, so please, choose wisely. Even though we are not a business, this document is provided under the commercial Lay-by Laws. All agreements must be in writing, no verbal agreement will be entered into, and this document is put together for the protection of all concerned. 1. Any and all cat/kittens put up for adoption from Redoak Ragdolls, following rules apply. 1.1      No deposits will be accepted to hold an unborn kitten with the exception of Rule 2.2. 1.2       All cat/kittens on offer by Redoak Ragdolls to be selected in person with the exception to Regional Country–Interstate and International buyers. 1.3 All Regional Country – Interstate and International buyers may select prospective kittens by way of (Video – E-mail or Photo’s). 1.4      A minimum $100 deposit will guarantee to hold your pet cat/kitten after selection. 1.5      A minimum $500 deposit will guarantee to hold your breeder cat/kitten after selection. 1.6      Any Monies paid as deposits are non-refundable after a 7 day cooling off period. 2. If you change your mind and wish to CANCEL your order after initial 7 day cooling off period, following rules applies. 2.1 Rule 1.6 applies; all deposits are non-refundable after a 7 day cooling off period. 2.2 If buyer chooses to change sex – colour or pattern from original selection, buyer may transfer deposit to another kitten, this will be accepted Once Only, so please select your cat/kitten very carefully. 2.3 Please Note: That you may have to wait for the cat/kitten of your choice if not available on day of you changing your mind. 3. Any Monies paid as a Periodical Payment from day of confirmation during and after cooling off period Rules as follows. 3.1 Any monies paid as a Periodical Payment towards a cat/kitten shall be fully refunded if you choose to cancel your cat/kitten order, minus non-refundable deposit as per Rule 1.6, so please select your cat/kitten very carefully. 3.2 Any product ordered through Redoak Ragdolls MUST be paid for upfront, this product then becomes the property of the customer who ordered and paid for it, any refund will be at the discretion of Redoak Ragdolls, so please select your product very carefully as Redoak Ragdolls has to order product in specially. 4. All Pet kittens sold by Redoak Ragdolls will be released, as rules apply. 4.1 All Redoak Ragdoll kittens are released no earlier than 12 weeks of age subject to health and condition of kitten after de-sexing. 4.2 If any kitten does not meet a health check clearance, the said kitten will not be released, and release date may be delayed by up to 2 weeks. 4.3 If kitten does not meet a health check clearance, Buyer may choose another kitten. 4.4 If buyer forfeits right to a replacement kitten and cancels order Rules 1.6 and 3.1 applies. 5. Payments: Redoak Ragdolls will only accept payments as follows. 5.1 Payments can be made by Cash. 5.2 Money Order or Bank Cheque made out to (Mr Dave Canbury). 5.3 Redoak Ragdolls can also provide Banking Details for internet transfers. 5.4 SORRY PERSONAL CHEQUES NOT ACCEPTED. 6. Redoak Ragdolls official documents supplied on the day of collection, rules as follows. 6.1 All Redoak Ragdoll customers will be provided with official Receipt –Certificate of De- sexing and Microchipping - Certificate of Health Status – Pedigree if requested and a vaccination passport book. 6.2 Redoak Ragdolls to keep an up to date Terms & Conditions of Sale listed on web site at all times as it seconds as a Guarantee/Warranty for any and all cat/kittens sold by us. 6.3 Once official Receipt has been signed, the Terms of Conditions posted on the Redoak Ragdolls Web Site then becomes binding to its full content to all parties concerned. 7. Any cat/kitten paid for in full and taken from Redoak Ragdolls, the cat/kitten then becomes the full responsibility of the new owner; any and all costs relating to any cat/kitten will be the responsibility of new owner, with the following exceptions. 7.1 A limited Warranty applies for 7 days only to all cat/kittens when released, as some cat/kittens do become stressed and make themselves sick once separated from their siblings and or from the place of where they were born and raised. 7.2 This limited Warranty applies to reasonable Medical expenses ONLY, minus Vet consult fee, this limited Warranty is limited to the cost of cat/kitten purchased from Redoak Ragdolls. 7.3 To be eligible for reasonable Medical expenses refund, a medical report must be presented stating what illness kitten has been treated for. 7.4 This limited Warranty will only allow Redoak Ragdolls to refund reasonable Medical expenses to the value of the cat/kitten paid minus Non Refundable deposit. 7.5 If cat/kitten should die or be destroyed due to a genetic defect, Redoak Ragdolls agrees to replace the cat/kitten with the next available cat/kitten of like quality, upon being provided with a necropsy (autopsy) report from a licensed, impartial veterinary pathologist or vet records indicating diagnoses from treating vet prior to death. The report must state that death was unquestionably a genetic defect. Redoak Ragdolls will not be responsible for any shipping - transportation or vetting costs. 7.6 If customer forfeits their rights to a replacement cat/kitten under the limited Warranty and request a refund this refund will be subject to any monies Redoak Ragdolls have already refunded and or spent on owner’s kitten for reasonable Medical expenses, up to the cost of purchased kitten. 8. If for ANY reason the buyer becomes unwilling or unable to care for there cat/kitten purchased from Redoak Ragdolls and provide the cat/kitten with proper food, shelter, and medical attention, the buyer agrees to surrender the cat/kitten to Redoak Ragdolls unconditionally, with no reimbursement or refund to the buyer as conditions do apply as follows. 8.1 Any cat/kitten returned to Redoak Ragdolls MUST in writing explaining reasons for the return of purchased kitten. 8.2 Any cat/kitten paid for in full, and taken from Redoak Ragdolls becomes the full responsibility of the new owner; any and all costs relating to any cat/kitten will be the responsibility of new owner. 8.3 Any cat/kitten returned to Redoak Ragdolls for whatever the reason, the cat/kitten will be quarantined until cleared by our Vet of any viruses and or infections as not to infect any other cat/ kitten in our cattery, all Vet bills and a $17.00 per day boarding fee will also apply to the value of the cat/kitten. 8.4 Any cat/kitten returned to Redoak Ragdolls and owner declines responsibility for said cat/kitten, owner MUST also return all documents indorsed back to Redoak Ragdolls (i.e.: Pedigree and Micro Chipping Paperwork etc - etc), if these legal document are not returned to Redoak Ragdolls a $17.00 a day boarding fee will apply until documents are returned. 8.5 Any cat/kitten returned to Redoak Ragdolls and owner declines to accept cat/kitten back within 14 days and all responsibilities that come with the cat/kitten, Redoak Ragdolls reserves the right to advertise to sell the said cat/kitten at owner’s expense. 8.6 Any monies left over from sale of cat/kitten once all expenses incurred by owner (i.e.: Vet Bills – Boarding Fees –and Advertising) have been paid to Redoak Ragdolls an itemized billing will be provided and refund if any will be returned. 8.7 If customer forfeits their rights to a replacement cat/kitten under the limited Warranty and request a refund this refund will be subject to any monies Redoak Ragdolls have already refunded and or spent on owners cat/kitten. 8.8 Please Note: This is a legal and binding document. All buyers agree to forward all medical records and properly signed registration papers within 24 Hours should the cat have to be surrendered back to Redoak Ragdolls. 9. The buyer agrees that the cat will not be sold, traded or given away to any pet shop, laboratory or adoption facility that has any kind of euthanasia practice, or be re-sold or destroyed without notifying Redoak Ragdolls. 10. Pet Kittens Sold with; 10.1 2 F3 Vaccinations – Wormed – Housetrained - Optional Pedigree on request – Vet checked - Microchipped & De-Sexed with Certificates. 11. Breeder Kittens Sold With; 11.1 2 F3 Vaccinations – Wormed – House Trained - Microchipped – Pedigree – Vet checked with Certificates. 12. Kitten Requirements; 12.1 One or more sturdy scratching posts, kitty litter, fresh water and dry food will be provided for the cat/kitten at all times. 12.2 When kitten has been released from Redoak Ragdolls, kitten may require additional litter trays until kitten is 6 to 9 months old. 12.3 The cat/kitten will be kept free from pests such as fleas, ear-mites, fungus, worms, etc. by example: Revolution, Advantage or Frontline. 13. Refunds: If any, will be to the discretion of the breeder Redoak Ragdolls and once decision is                 made, it becomes final. 14. Any and all refunds will be to the discretion of the breeder Redoak Ragdolls, Rules Apply. 14.1 Rule 1.6 applies; all deposits are non-refundable after a 7 day cooling off period. 14.2 Any product ordered through Redoak Ragdolls Rule 3.2 applies. 14.3 All refunds if any will be with held until Redoak Ragdolls have received all medical records and properly signed registration papers should the cat/kitten be surrendered back to Redoak Ragdolls as per rules 8. and 8.1 through to 8.8. 14.4 All refunds if any will only be paid through the banking system; to receive your refund, Redoak Ragdolls will require banking details for refund transfer. 15. Interstate & International Kittens Sold; 15.1 All Interstate & International buyers must pay in full prior to any veterinary services are provided to any cat/kitten that is to depart Redoak Ragdolls Cattery. 15.2 All air fares and or travelling expenses to be paid up front by buyer before Redoak Ragdolls confirms any bookings on behalf of buyer, once bookings have been made and paid for, these bookings are non – refundable as to Airlines Terms & Conditions. 16. All genuine complaints to be made in writing and or by E-mail to Redoak Ragdolls, via Email address dcanbury@bigpond.net.au . 17. If the cat/kitten has been purchased as a pet only and Pedigree required later, Following Rules apply. 17.1 Redoak Ragdolls MUST register all litters with the GCCFV Inc. 17.2 All kittens sold without pedigrees, a Pedigree can be obtained before kitten turns 6 month of age. 17.3 Redoak Ragdolls WILL NOT supply copies of parents Pedigree when kitten is sold as a pet. 17.4 Parents Pedigree‘s are available for viewing only on request. 18. Any adult and or ex- breeder all above rules apply. 19. This Contract of Sale only applies to all those who sign there purchase receipt provided by Redoak Ragdolls on the day of collection of there total purchase.
